A few hundred yards away from our Sauvignon vines, there is a small plot in Chailloux dedicated to Pinot Noir. The flint soil provides the wine with a different definition, giving it more elegance and minerality.

As with La Noue, in this wine we are looking to express the elegance of Pinot Noir, allowing it to impart a personal note linked to its terroir.

The grapes are placed in a truncated cement tank for about 25 days with few extraction methods used. The wine is aged in 500-litre barrels for one year.

This Chailloux Red will bring a touch of freshness when served with poultry, beef or pork cooked in their juices.
